School Life
At DPSI, learning without walls means strengthening connections both during and beyond the school day. We offer a breadth of opportunities – from clubs and affinity groups, after school programming and summer camps – for students to explore their identities, lean into passions, and try something new.
Through our service-learning program, we connect with the world beyond the classroom and take action toward meaningful change in our community. Even our lunch program reflects the way that learning at Calhoun extends into all aspects of the school experience: fueling us with delicious, farm-to-table meals and holistic food education.
One of the first things that people comment on about life at Calhoun is the sense of community. We foster an open, welcoming environment where close relationships can flourish, where families are seen as vital partners, and where all of us are empowered to positively shape the place where we come to learn and grow each day.
